Look. I don't know how many of you there are now, I can't remember everything... but... I know I attacked people over the weekend. I wasn't-- I can't say I wasn't myself, but I wasn't who I am now. I was lost and sick and fucked up.

[Awkward pause, Frankie's not really the sort for public apologies but he probably owes one at this point...]

The important thing is-- I can fix it. If you got bit, if I did or someone I bit got you... I can fix you. Just... don't bite anyone else and let me know where I can find you.

[As he switches off, under his breath-- probably to himself, he mutters,] not too late.

[ooc; per his plot, let the vampire babby cleanup begin <3]

What yeh're sayin' I should just keep bakin', then?

[He leans in a little with that same, subtle curve to his lips, the curl of his body putting them nearly eye-to-eye.]

Don't tire yourself out too bad.

[He lips crook, and it manages, if she were a vampire, to show fang. She's imitating his smile]

Well I've got to do somethin', yeah? While yeh're out savin' the world.

[His grin cracks a little wider, because it looks a little odd on her, though the expression's as familiar as his own reflection. Well, moreso, since he hasn't had one all that long.]

Saving's too much. I just want to leave it the way I found it. [A little closer, and half-stretched across the countertop he's actually looking slightly up at her.] I'll try not to keep you up baking too late.

[She leans down and kisses him, hard, on the mouth]

There are better ways to spend me time, I bet.

[She's teasing now]

But yeh best start savin' people from turnin' into monsters.

[The look in his eyes when he pulls back from kissing her in return-- and it takes a moment, for him to build that resolve-- is faintly predatory without a trace of bloodthirst. He can't swear he won't keep her up other ways.]

Yeah. Can't really put it off.

[There's a thrill in that look, for her, and she packs up a couple of loaves of bread and pushes them over, putting it between them, as if that'll discharge some of the energy between them. At least it distracts her from teasing him into distraction]

Go. Take some bread, fuck, we have enough of it. Wake me up when yeh get back.

[He laughs, a short huff of breath, at the bizarre image of solemnly handing over baked goods after bringing people back to life, but takes what she pushes over and resists the urge to dawdle any longer. The sooner he takes care of these people the sooner it's all over.]

Of course.

[She goes back to what she was doing, except not as nasty. There are words on the tip of her tongue but she doesn't say them. She just kneads dough]
