Look. I don't know how many of you there are now, I can't remember everything... but... I know I attacked people over the weekend. I wasn't-- I can't say I wasn't myself, but I wasn't who I am now. I was lost and sick and fucked up.

[Awkward pause, Frankie's not really the sort for public apologies but he probably owes one at this point...]

The important thing is-- I can fix it. If you got bit, if I did or someone I bit got you... I can fix you. Just... don't bite anyone else and let me know where I can find you.

[As he switches off, under his breath-- probably to himself, he mutters,] not too late.

[ooc; per his plot, let the vampire babby cleanup begin <3]

[Nodding obediently, Chris walks into the kitchen to get a cup, cleaning the inside of it with his vest as he walks back into the room. Something to do with blood, then. The alcohol pads tip him off.] Right, d'you want me to...what do I do?

[He'd really rather NOT go putting his mouth on another bloke in any sort of way.]

S'fine, mate, I don't mind.

[Unavoidably, Chris's hand shakes as he takes the cup from Frankie, making sure he gets a hold of it. He doesn't want to drop it. But he is very seriously thinking about what would happen if he just didn't drink it.

He could deal, right? Stay out of the sun, keep going on bagged stuff? He likes the sun, though, and he doesn't like avoiding work because people make him uncomfortable now. He especially can't stand the idea of Ray still being wary of him, or for that matter, what Ray would say if he found out that Chris had held a cup full of the cure in his hand and refused to drink it because he was scared.]

I-I should prob'ly sit down, then, yeah? [He smiles weakly. His attempt at a joke.]

[Looking ill, Chris goes to sit down in an armchair, holding the cup in both of his hands.]

Yeah, don't worry. Won't do that, not after you doin' this for me.

[He looks down at the cup.]

Um...y'want me t'give you time t'leave or sommat? Can't be too much fun watchin' loads of people...be cured or...that.

[He nods.] No, s'okay.

[He's so afraid all the time anyway that he doesn't mind too much looking like a pansy, and he doesn't particularly want something to go wrong and Frankie not to be there. He licks his lips nervously, stares at the cup for a while longer, and then downs the blood like it's a shot.

Then he screams, doubling over and then plastering back against the chair. It feels like he's on fire, only on the inside. He can't remember ever feeling so awful in his life. Frantically trying to catch his breath, and clawing lightly at his chest, he makes small sobbing noises, dropping the cup and not noticing.

And then the pain starts to fade, his heart actually beating again. He wouldn't have even noticed that before all of this happened. He collapses into the chair, exhausted and still trying to breathe.]

Jus'........need t'breathe. ...would be daft dyin' from that...

[Still looking a bit shell-shocked, Chris nods and keeps trying to breathe.] Okay. [The worst of it is over and he's alive.]

Yeah. [Chris's breathing is finally regulating.] M'fine. Thank you. Really. Thanks.

Alright, Frankie. [Chris stands up carefully to be polite and follow Frankie to the door.] Anythin' I can do for you from now on, jus' let me know.
